Big Dawg Sportfishing teamed up with Top Shelf charters ( Shelby), Top Notch charters (Ariel Medero), Captain Chris Morrison and Captain Jeff Sheeler for this catch of swordfish and dolphin. Mike Biffel Jr. caught his first swordfish as did Chris Morrison (his weighted in at 162). Great team effort!
Deep Drop Duo

Longtime buddies, Danny Langdon, from Reading, PA and Jim Russell, from Boston, had a great day of deep dropping. The Mutton Snappers were biting (20+ lbs.) and had the group happy and tired by the end of the day.
Goliath Grouper

The Hunt for Big November

What a catch for November! Albert Gentile, Johnny Costalas, Nick Borraccino, and Captain Mike fished hard despite the chilly temperatures and windy conditions. Their prize catch consisted of 3 black groupers, along with 6 large mutton snappers and 2 amberjacks. Johnny had fun fighting a 150 lb. spinner shark that jumped several times.
Goliath Grouper

Chris Pruitt, Jim Leupold and Dave Rinehart from Reading, PA enjoyed a great day of fishing in the Gulf. Jim reeled in several large Goliath Grouper and later, the whole crew got into the cobias.
African Pompano

Even Captains like to fish on their days off. These fish were caught the first week of November by Bobby Miller and Captain Mike. The African Pompano weighed in at 20 lbs. and the muttons ranged in size from 8 to 15 lbs. The Red grouper was 19 lbs. All the fish were caught deep dropping using live bait. It was an exciting day that wrapped up with catching a Goliath Grouper!
Flag Yellowtail

The yellowtail were caught out on the reef on live bait and plugs. They were flag yellowtail weighing in at 5 and 6 lbs.
Muttons in Deep Waters

These Mutton snappers were caught last Thursday out in 200 feet of water. Captain Randy Rode, who has fished in Cabo for many winters was aboard the Big Dawg, along with regulars Joe Suroviec and Mike Sniscat.
