The Thunderbolt proved a good choice for the Beeson’s last day.  With only seven drops, four muttons landed in the boat.  A total of seven were caught.   And then check out this African Pompano caught by Cliff.  Captain Mike hooked into a whopper of a yellowtail too. Of course, a few mackerals finished off a fun day of fishing on the Big Dawg.

After an awesome catch of live bait, Captain Mike headed out back with his crew to try the snapper bite.  The fog moved in heavy and navigating was tedious, but once the spot was found, the bite was on.  From there, the Big Dawg and Beeson crew fished the bridge for more snappers and then headed into the ocean for some fun with King Mackerals.  Lots of line was spinning!

PA residents, Neil Grubb, Brad Crawford, Keith and Barry bring in a great catch as the wind finally tapers off and the water begins a gradual warming!  Despite the recent cold front, the guys were able to bridge fish for snappers and then deep drop for mutton snappers, groupers & amber jacks.  There were also some large predators lurking about and boy were they hungry!  They made the cudas look small!

Brad was so hungry, this cuda didn’t know what bit him!  Barry’s amber jack took a hit too!
