Beautiful blue, clear water in the Gulf.

Sheldon has the hot rod!  Captain James Simcic assists.

Taking a few days off from their busy medical practices in PA, these Docs were fishing fiends!  The Kingfish were playful, the Cobia hungry and the snappers biting hard.  Check out this KING and awesome catch!

Jon Bradlee, along with his son, Evan, good buddy Jerry O’Neil and neighbor Hans, had three great days on the water.  Whatever species they hooked into, they hooked LARGE!  There was plenty to eat for dinner every night, and still lots to take home to feast on later.

All six Biffel boys, plus friends Jamie and Rud, set out for a day of fishing gulfside.  Rudd caught a humongous Goliath Grouper, as did Tucker and Billy.  Mikey pulled in a nice Cobia and Brandon hooked up a keeper Grouper.  Captain Mike and his brother Billy kept everyone rigged up and caught a few themselves.

The Reading, PA boys were back for their annual fall fishing trip.  Fishing on the Big Dawg and the O’Fishal Big Dawg,  all the anglers brought in great fish.  The conditions on the first two days were great. Both boats headed gulfside and brought in Cobia and assorted snappers.  Mickey Chaknos landed a 9 lb. mangrove snapper!  What a beauty!

Fred Savage and Jim, new to the trip this year, each earned themselves a “Big Dawg of the Day” shirt with their Tuna and Mutton Snapper hook ups.  Richard Groves handled the Tuna too.

The third day was windy, but bridge fishing was hot.  Lots of snappers and a few groupers were caught by all.

The fourth and final day showcased a wide variety of fish, mostly caught on patch reefs and inshore.  Check out these photos!

Mickey’s mangrove.  WOW!

Robert and Sharon fished for Cobia and Grouper.  Along with this catch, Robert, who likes to use a Fly Rod, caught over 200 lbs. of mackeral.  That’s quite a feat.  For Sharon, this was only her second fishing expedition and she was the BIG DAWG of the DAY!

This crew of experienced anglers from Maryland made their annual fall trip to Key Colony Beach and got tons of fish, lots of sunshine, and good wind conditions!  Captain Mike, along with Captain Jason Long and Captain Josh got them hooked up on the sailfish which are running in shallow water right now, as well as large mutton snappers, flag yellowtails, grouper, and assorted other reef fish.

Marvin's sailfish

After a quick photo shoot, Marvin’s sailfish was released and swam off happily!

These muttons pictured below were caught by Mike, his dad Robert, and Marvin.  Randy & Charlie, who were newcomers this year, proved to be great anglers.  Alan, his dad Howie, & John showed off their skills all three days.

Alan, Howie (Big Dawg of the Day), and John show off their muttons and grouper. Marvin’s mutton is a keeper too!
