Equipment Check out the equipment that we use while on charter. All of the equipment that has been chosen has been designed to make sure that you have the most favorable Florida Keys fishing experience possible.
Boat Information	The Lil Dawg is a 23′ Pathfinder powered by a Yamaha 150hp Four Stroke. Designed for the shallow-water flats and backcountry, this stealthy setup allows us to reach the “skinny water” where trophy fish hide, while still providing a smooth, reliable ride through the mangroves.
Rods	The Big Dawg Fishing Team use St. Croix fishing rods.
Reels	We use an assortment of spinning and conventional Reels. The Shimano Saragosa 6000 and 10000 are great for 12 pound spinning and helps stop Big Kings and Cobias. The Shimano Trinidad works nicely when deep fishing over wrecks. Loaded with 20 or 30 pound line, the 7500 Penn Spinning reels are good for shallow wrecks in the Gulf.
